MUSIC

Music is the aesthetic subject. But it is not only a subject it is medicine for our life. Pitch, rhythm are the common element of music. There are many types of music. Such as jazz, classical, pop, hip hop, rock and karaoke. Music is representing nation in some countries. They call it as their traditional things.  Without music there is no film there is no drama there is no dancing act. Music is connecting with all other aesthetic subjects.

By learning music we can relax our minds using music. And also we can listen to music to relax our minds. Nowadays music is use as medicine for people. It is a therapy for calming down our mental & refreshes our nerves.

I think music can change our mood also. It helps to makes ourselves happy. Sometimes music can makes we sad or lonely. Most of the times music helps me to reduce my alone. Music means not only lyrics not only vocal it is a some kind of language. 

Studies show that when pregnant women have time listening to music, they are helping their babies’ brain development. Experts say that when babies grow up, they are smarter than others. Music can also help pregnant women to decrease their stress which is due to pregnancy. When their time of delivery comes, they are more prepared and calmed.

Music is one of the best hobbies that teenagers can do without computer games. It is much better if teenagers will spend time practicing by playing their favorite instrument or by singing their song.

Finally I want to say music can assist people recover  from their pain and emotional distress.

What is the eco system

An ecosystem is a community of living organisms (plants, animals and microbes) in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment (things like air, water and mineral soil) interacting as a system.

These biotic and biotic components are regarded as linked together through nutrient cycles and energy flows.
Everything in the natural world is connected. An ecosystem is a community of living and non-living things that work together. Ecosystems have no particular size.

An ecosystem includes all of the living things in a given area, interacting with each other and also with their non-living environment. Find out what the levels.

Energy, water, nitrogen and soil minerals are other essential abiotic component of an ecosystem is obtained primarily form the sun.

A pond ecosystem a basic unit in ecology formed from the cohabitation of plants, animals.

Microorganisms and a surrounding environment, refers to a community of fresh water organisms largely dependent on each of the surviving species to maintain a life cycle. Ponds shallow water bodies barely reach 12 to 15 feet in depth and allow the sun to penetrate to its bottom. Allowing freshwater plants consists of algae, fungi.

Microorganisms, plants and various fish, which may fall in to three distinct classifications;

Producer, consumer and decomposer the pond’s natural cycle begins with the producers and then to the consumers before ending with the decomposers.

Human relationship with pond

There has an interconnection between pond and man.There has a calm and quiet environment.

We use it for decorate our garden the by.

There are many green leaves near the pond. they are suitable for eat.as well as pond filled up water.as a result there has wet environment.it can be supply water for different fields and different trees.

Pond gives help for continues wet environment of abandon  paddy field.Now we can see interconnection with human being and pond. It is most need for man.Man gives water to pond and pond gives many special things for man..     

MY OPINION ABOUT GALLE FORT AREA CONSERVATION

    

  We went Galle fort on 15 October 2015.we walk around the Galle fort. We could found more things about Galle fort. And we could see deferent places. At the same time we got more experience. We could know about history of Galle fort, and we got some idea about Galle fort.

                                  We could see tourism and other business work. At the same time we show some activities in Galle fort area. We found some imperfection and some facilities around the Galle fort area.

   Most people earn money from tourism. And deferent business and some activities located around the tourism. Most foreigners came and visited Galle fort area. Therefore foreigners influence residents directly in Galle fort area. So we can guess tourism and residents have relationship.

                                                  I have some opinion about Galle fort area conservation. I think Galle fort has un systemic road network and un systemic shops.

At the same time I think some places are damaged because some bad activities. There are different buildings and most buildings look like off white and brown color. I think it is a rule. There is a culture they have characteristic.

                   Galle fort faced some problems. It is dangerous situation according to my opinions. I think not enough safety for old buildings, other old places and ruins like wise. I like to care about old place in Galle fort. And we should make systemic transport service and we should protect valuable places.

 Further, we can hold workshop about how to protect valuable places and important buildings like wise. We can discus with resident in Galle fort about what are the reasons of damage old places and how to develop buildings and streets.

Lastly I like to say we should recognize valuable of the Galle fort and next we protect Galle fort. This is a heritage in our country.  

  

 

Our effective communication session

We have important module. It is an Effective communication module. I think it is very useful and important for our education. I got more experience and more information about how to learn English. We had more exercises in English and we had some fun game. We all did it happily.

 Sometime some games are difficult to do us, but we did it hardly. We all have lot of academic work. Therefor we should manage our time. We did all work with managing time.

               Chathura sir is our lecturer of effective communication module. He has good knowledge about student and he know how to give knowledge us. He can understand us. He always think student and student’s future.

  Chathura sir always do some special exercises. And he think deferent always. I never feel bored during chathura sir’s lectures. He can get attraction from us. It is his talent. I think chathura sir is better lecturer in our department.

   I learned more things about how to we can communicate in English.  Effective communication light our life. Now we see world with deferent eye. We can face to world without fear.

          We got more experience from our effective communication session. We learned English funnily.

                At the same time we learned technological system. We never had seen what the blogger is. But now we know how to use blogger account. We can develop our communication skills because our blogger account. We always posted new, interesting post and we got more comments. Therefor we can make our mistakes.

                                              Lastly I like to say now we can face deferent situation and we can communicate in English. Actually credits goes to chathura sir. Thank for your kind service.

Communication in business

Communication is an important for personal. As well as important for business. In the business world effective communication is important for the daily operation of the company. We can’t do internal and external business activities without good communication. We have to face many barriers through business world. They can face susscefully with good communication. We can categorize two types of communication.

One way communication in business is when the business sends out a message to its customers or employees, it accept responses from the customers or employees. One way communication is important as it allows the business to share information with the customers & employees. It can be products or services. Two way communications occurs when customers can also respond to the company in business communication. Social media marketing is a form of two ways communication has gained in popularity as it not only allows businesses to communicate with its prospects and customers, but it also allows the prospects and customers to respond.

When a business effectively communicates to prospects and customers how its products and services can benefit them, it converts prospects into customers. Good communication ultimately boosts the bottom line of a business.

A business owner may conduct an employee meeting where an item is announced verbally so employees can hear the information and watch the body language of the presenter. In addition, an email may go out the employees as a follow up to the announcement.

When the internal forces of a business are working toward communicating then same message to sale man. supplies and customers, good communication can also lead to a boost in sales for the business. Essentially good communication creates a win-win situation. The customers who can benefit from the company receive the messages they need to make them aware of the company and to make a purchase, which in turn boosts the sales of the company.

Effective communication can help to foster a good working relationship between you and your staff, which can in turn improve morale and effectively. Powerful communication has in business it can achieve   business goals successfully.

Perception plays a pivotal role in good communication. Communication may only be beneficial when the message the business is sending is the same as the one received by its customers.

Importance of learning English

Even in the European community it has become the predominant language. More than 75% of the short massage and ordinary telephone calls are made in English. Above all internet access can be made only through English. At the same time we can’t face world without using English language. We must learn English because it is an international language, and it is the  main language in many countries.

                                    Further along with this globalization it should be. We can’t merge with global village without knowing an international language. If we say “we can” it is impossible.

  As we all know English is the second language in government schools. If we can make a better environment for the child to learn English I think it would be more successful. We should give first place for learning English. At the same time that the government has already implemented some special programs to sustain the language among schools. The idea behind this is to make the children expose to different ethnic groups to study together using a single language and also children can learn more things and they can shear information and feelings.

                                  This does not mean that we are going to give up our national language but we should develop English knowledge with our mother language. If we learn English we can connect with the world.

 If we know English we can face any problem and also we can build up our own personality. We can go ahead without any fear from learning English and we are always walking around the world by using the internet. Therefore we should have to learn English language.

  As a university student I think we need English always. And we always work with English language. We study in English. So we need develop our English knowledge. We can improve our English knowledge by using in our day to day lives. We should practice always and we should use always English. We must try to talk in English always.

And also lastly I like to say that English language is the only torch that dispels the gloom of the higher education.   

Our field visit in KOTTE

We went Kotte more time in this semester. Our study area is Kotte area. We found more information about Kotte. We walk Thalawathugoda junction, Jubilly junction, Pita kotte junction and other places.

                       We walk here and there, and we could see special place and special things about kotte area. Kotte is a kingdom. It is a beautiful place. And we could see different place.

                 After visit the Kotte we should make some maps. Town scale map, green and blue map, figure ground map, nolli map, activity map, axial map and solid void map like wise. And at the same time we got town scale map for our group. After that we found information about town scale map in Kotte area.

    We got southern part of Kotte study area for our next project. We should went Kotte for observe activities for activity map. At the same time we went and observe activities and building variations, street patterns and other characterize.

     We enjoy our visit time period and we got more experience. And further we enjoy every moment of observation time. Bad weather disturb for us. But we don’t care it and we always are happy. We went Diyatha Park for our lunch time. It is very interesting and funny visite. We enjoy it.

   At last we finished our observation and visit. We came back and next we update our maps. After we are make maps. Lastly I like to say our Kotte field visit is interesting and funny.
